New Tree for Long-Standing Paper Plus Customer

We are delighted to announce that Downs Junior School in Brighton has been chosen to receive a new tree for their grounds in recognition of being one of our longest-standing customers.

In February this year, as part of our 25th birthday celebrations, we planted a young cherry tree in front of the school. Paper Plus staff joined Downs Junior School staff and student ‘garden monitors’ for the tree-planting ceremony! A representative from Sussex-based plant nursery Garden Sage, who provided the tree, was also there to lend a hand.

Alongside this, we are pleased to be supporting Sussex-based Tree Action this year – a not for profit community interest company – who have provided planting and follow-up care advice for Downs Junior School to ensure the tree has a long and healthy life.

“We’re delighted to be supporting two local organisations through this initiative as a way of recognising our 25th birthday. Downs Junior School is a long-standing customer and Tree Action’s work with young people throughout Sussex is invaluable.” Cliff Henry, Director, Paper Plus UK

About Tree Action

They aim to connect young people with the environment to support their mental well-being, give them the opportunity to learn about and care for trees, and make their own positive contributions to tackling climate change.
