Do vape sensors exist?
Yes, Vape Sensors do exist! Volan Vape Sensors are one of several vape detection products currently on the market, however Volan Vape Sensors are the only British-made vape sensor available for purchase while others are imported from America and China.
How do vape sensors work?
Volan Vape Sensors continuously monitor the environment, sending 12 distinct data points on particle size and concentration to our advanced infrastructure. The sophisticated algorithms then analyse this data to accurately determine if vaping is taking place. When vaping is detected, the system instantly alerts designated recipients via SMS or email. Unlike other threshold-based systems, Volan precisely identifies vaping patterns to avoid false positives.
What happens when a vape sensor is activated?
When a Volan Vape Sensor detects vaping activity, alerts are immediately sent to designated personnel through email/SMS detailing location and time of the detection. This allows on-duty staff the opportunity to react and intercept the incident.
